Pico Laser Facial Rejuvenation

Picosecond pulses provide the fastest available release of specific laser energy at the target areas while minimizing the collateral damage caused by prolonged heating of surrounding tissue, as can occur in older laser technologies. The rapid nature of the picosecond laser allows for increased selective photothermolysis and photomechanical destruction of targeted cells (the mechanism by which lasers work).
In our clinic, we utilize the Discovery PICO™ to treat various conditions including tattoo removal, pigmentary conditions, acne scarring, and photoaging.
It is largely safe and effective, with uncommon side effects including post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
