A thigh lift removes excess skin and fat from the inner thigh. This is where most of the deflated skin accumulates due to lack of skin tethering in this region. Once the skin and fat are removed, the remaining fascia is anchored carefully to reduce the risk of scar widening and improve the aesthetic outcome. The scar is well-hidden on the inside of the thighs. Post-procedure, scar therapy and compression garments will be instituted to help with the healing process. Complications are rare, but do include potential seroma, wound breakdown, numbness, or bad scarring.
